A controversial teen disco was broken into - just hours after it was refused a licence to continue.
The front door to the historic Leigh Coliseum building in Elm Road, Leigh, was forced open, causing more than £3,000 damage.
Once inside, thieves smashed open two fruit machines and stole the cash contents of around £600.
An amplifier was also reported missing after the break-in.
The under-18s disco Intrigue had been running in the old cinema building at weekends for the past six months.
A licensing hearing had earlier refused to give Intrigue's owners a full public entertainment licence after complaints from nearby residents.
The hearing heard there had been an increase in youth-related crime since it opened and residents complained of general noise and nuisance caused by youngsters.
