Grays IBO Inter Continental welterweight champion Darren Bruce is facing a race against time to be fit for his first title defence against Welshman Michael Smith on Monday evening's bill at York Hall, Bethnal Green.
"Darren has a touch of flu, so it's very much up in the air at the moment as to whether he will make it or not," said Matchroom spokesman John Wisschusen.
The bill will be topped by Michael Ayers' defence of his IBO lightweight title against Australian Tony 'Mad Dog' Miller.
West Ham's unbeaten light middleweight Steve Roberts will be making a welcome return to the ring against Michael Whittaker in a six-round contest, and Barking featherweight Marc P. Callaghan will face Mark Smith from Swansea in a four-rounder.
Also on the undercard will be light middleweight Richard Williams against Harry Butler over four rounds. Meanwhile, Dagenham super bantamweight Nicky Cook's opponent is yet to be finalised.
Making up the bill will be a four round cruiserweight contest between Canning Town's Paul Maskell and Barnsley's Rob Galloway.
