Jobless figures took another tumble across south Essex taking unemployment levels down to a 19-year low.
The biggest drop came in Southend as the number of benefit claimants fell to 3,913 for November compared to 4,054 for October - a decrease of 141.
The second largest dip was in Basildon with 2,272 claimants last month compared to 2,407 in October. Thurrock saw a drop of 70 from 2,286 to 2,216 claimants.
There were also falls in Rochford with jobless levels going down to 790 compared to 844 for October and Castle Point figures slipped to 981 in November from 1,011.
Unemployment levels in Brentwood stood at 506 for last month.
Nationally, the number of people claiming unemployment benefit was cut by 10,600 last month to 1,192,400, down by 132,400 on the year and the lowest level since spring 1980.
