Southend Academicals taught Kings Field Casuals a lesson with a 6-1 success in the Southend Sunday League Premier Division.

In Division One, two goals from J Doyle helped Maplin United stay top with a 2-1 home win over Roche Meadow. Forrester got three as Kingston Athletic beat Thorpe 7-0.

Dewson's double helped Hullbridge Sports win 4-1 at Mill Sports.

Pullen was a twin-strike hero in Division Two as Graphic saw off Sutton Sports 4-1. Cairns got both as Hawkwell won 2-1 at Trinity 2nd.

In the Third Division, Sandell's brace helped Eltonians win 3-1 at Holtend United.

Olympus were in the goal picture in Division Four with Reeve scoring four and McCormack three in an 8-2 win at Thames Park.

There were seven different goal-scorers in Division Five as Fram won 7-0 at Rochford United.

Bell Sports were really ringing in Division Six. They saw off Belton Rangers 15-1 with Benson scoring four. Baker and Chandler both grabbed hat-tricks.

It was a battle of the big birds in this division when Eagles beat Fairway Eagles 4-0 with Alberici scoring three. Merenda (5) and Kavanagh (3) starred for Ness Rangers, 12-1 winners at Sutton Sports 2nd.

J Butler served up a double as Kings Field Casuals 2nd beat their Rochford United counterparts 4-1 in Division Seven.

I Sharman and N Sainsbury both netted two in Division Eight as Carlyle Sports 2nd saw off Towerfield Rangers 6-3.

Atkins' trio helped Hullbridge Sports 3rd win 3-1 at their Kings Field Casuals counterparts and J Whitworth had a similar haul as Chateau won 5-1 at Sky Athletic.

Top individual haul here, however, saw G Evans score four to help Progress United to a 5-0 win at Ralee 2nd.
