The driver of this lorry which overturned outside the Traveller's Joy pub in Rayleigh escaped with just minor bruising.
The lorry struck another vehicle as it turned over but miraculously the driver was the only person injured in the accident.
A spokesman for Rayleigh traffic police said: "The vehicle overturned and in doing so it struck another vehicle in a minor manner.
"It wasn't a collision as such.
"For some - as yet unknown - reason it turned over and the driver was taken to Southend Hospital but wasn't detained."
Police are investigating the cause of the crash in Downhall Road, Rayleigh, yesterday lunchtime.
