Suprise Third Division leaders Barnet travel to Roots Hall tonight (Friday) with the sole aim of extending their 100 per cent league record at Southend United's ground.
The Shrimpers have only met Barnet once on home soil in the league when the visitors won 3-2 on a day Blues fans were celebrating the Seasiders' 1,000th league game at the stadium.
John Still's side will be hoping for a repeat as they try to extend their three-point lead at the top of the table.
Barnet are 12 points ahead of 13th placed Southend in the league standings and the contrast between the two sides could not be greater.
Cash-strapped Barnet's Underhill home is the smallest ground in the Football League and their average attendances of under 2,000 are less than half Blues' average Roots Hall gate.
Barnet have not spent any money on new players, unlike Southend who are floundering despite splashing out on several signings.
Barnet's only new recruit has been 19-year-old defensive midfielder Danny Brown from Leyton Orient, who has relished his chance to play First-team soccer following a free transfer move from Brisbane Road.
But Barnet do have some talented and experienced players among their ranks, none more so than forward trio Ken Charlery, Darren Currie and Marlon King.
Currie has attracted the interest of First Division strugglers Sheffield United and teenage striker King, who scored his first league goal against Southend, is being hawked by Spurs.
Barnet also have a solid custodian to fall back-on, in Billericay-born shot-stopper Lee Harrison.
