Brentwood's winning sequence continued with a fine win over Cheshunt on Sunday.
Playing a side with just one reverse so far this season, Brentwood produced an excellent display especially defensively with Tom Gilburt outstanding.
Alex Reed had another big game at hooker, and he was ably supported by the rest of the pack.
The early pressure came from the visiting team resulting in a try in the corner from Sebastian Clarke brilliantly converted from the touchline by Lee Stannier.
Brentwood proceeded to create a number of opportunities for further scores but a combination of handling errors let Cheshunt off the hook.
This could easily have proven costly as the home side edged their way back into the game and spent most of the remainder of the first half pressurising the Brentwood line.
Stout resistance was the order of the day and a 'they shall not pass' mentality ensured that Brentwood protected their lead until half time.
A number of changes at the break, both in the pack and in the backs, may have upset the balance of the Brentwood side on another day but not so on this occasion.
Playing up the hill they took a stranglehold on proceedings and further scores from Gilburt, John Geary and Andrew Stewart secured a well-earned win.
Cheshunt reduced the deficit with a try that proved to be the last play of the match.
This coming Sunday, Brentwood visit Harlow for an Essex Cup semi-final tie and recent form suggests that Brentwood have every reason to be confident of reaching the final.
