Soap star and comedian Mike Reid is appearing in a new East End gangster movie opposite Hollywood heart-throb Brad Pitt.
EastEnders' star Mike Reid, who lives in Great Easton, near Great Dunmow, is currently shooting the follow up to the successful Brit-movie Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
Also starring will be football hard man turned actor Vinnie Jones.
The film is provisionally called Diamonds and is directed by Guy Ritchie, the man behind the smash hit Lock, Stock.
Mike Reid's agent Tony Lewis said: "Mike is in the film and today is the last day he is filming. It certainly sounds like he is having a great time."
