Motorist Kelly Buck was so tipsy behind the wheel that she collided with a traffic island and a parked car.
Her erratic driving along Church Road, Basildon, on November 3 shocked another driver so much that he called the police.
When officers stopped Buck, 27, she almost fell out of her Ford Fiesta, Basildon magistrates heard.
Her solicitor Mark Savage told the court: "She feels ashamed of what she has done. She has now taken steps to beat her drink problem."
Buck, of Rayside, Basildon, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. She was put on 12 months' probation on condition she attends a drive-safe programme.
She was also ordered to serve 40 hours of community work and must pay £75 costs. Buck was banned from driving for three years.
