Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was stabbed in Southend.
Residents of an Archer Avenue address called police after the man, who had been stabbed in the back and arms, knocked on a door pleading for help. The 26-year-old was taken to Southend Hospital where he was treated for his wounds and later released.
Inspector Martyn Pinkney, of Southend police, said investigations were continuing.
He said: "A man knocked on the door of an address in Archer Avenue and said he had been in a fight.
"He had some knife wounds to his arms and back, but his injuries were not considered to be life-threatening."
