A dedicated worker who has clocked up 20 years' service has been rewarded - with a television!
Sue Jones, who works within Basildon Council's community services department, was presented with a TV and flowers by chairman of the council, councillor Lynda Gordon.
Her jobs during her time at the council include a stint at the council's youth support service and working with voluntary groups.
She also helped set up the annual favourite teddy bears' picnic at Wat Tyler Country Park in Pitsea.
Chief executive John Robb said: "The special ceremony was held to honour Sue's dedication."
