LEAGUE CUP FIRST ROUND
Gallow United stormed into the second round after their 8-1 thrashing ofArun Athletic on Sunday.
Darren Matthams (2), Daniel Miller (2), Ian Morris, Peter Bennett, Daniel Tozier and Joe Webb goals sent Gallow through, while Bobby James netted Arun's consolation goal.
Intersports beatDuke Street 3-0, Paul Knock netting all three goals.
LEAGUE CUP SECOND ROUND
Third division side Uplands Rangers earned their place in the next round after beating struggling second division outfit Bassment 3-0.
Rangers were 2-0 up at half-time, via Matthew Bunting and John Jarvis goals, and added a third after the break with Jarvis again finding the net.
The all first division tie between Checkmate and Danbury produced a nine goal thriller with Danbury winning 6-3, Ben Coburn, Grant Watson and Andy Jackson the Checkmate scorers.
Ravens thrashed Barrack Square 5-0, Andy Holmes (2), Oliver Rodway, Ryan Passfield and Luke Wordley the players on target.
Worbouys are out after a last minute goal gifted Outwood Common a 2-1 win. Richard Sunderland had given Common the lead, before Joe Figg equalised for 'Bouys, but they then went out to the late strike.
Chelmer Village Athletic eased into the next round with a 4-0 win over Chelmbrook Lion, Lee Cahill (2), Steve Orrin and Grant Willis the scorers.
