PREMIER DIVISION
In the local derby at Tillingham Hotspur , the reigning champions lost 3-1 to Burnham Ramblers.
The visitors were 2-0 up, before Andy Dowling pulled a goal back for Tillingham, but the Ramblers added a third and decisive goal.
Martin Hatcher (2, one a penalty) and Craig Rhodda goals counted for the Ramblers.
Beacon Hill Rovers remain unbeaten after beating visitors Southminster 3-1.
Chris Maycock's two goals gave Rovers an interval lead.
Beacon Hill, then had a player sent off, allowing Southminster to reduce the arrears via Steve Harding's strike, but then the visitors also lost a player and Paul Welham's goal sealed Hill's victory.
Ravens gained their first league win of the season at Outwood Common .
Danny Warner scored three goals, and also missed a penalty, while Phil Cherry and Dave Stacey goals made up the Ravens tally in their 5-3 win.
Marconi edged closer to Tillingham at the top after a 5-2 win at Hullbridge , Carl Wilkinson (2), Dave Sedgwick (2) and Marcus Bragg scoring for Marconi.
DIVISION ONE
Braintree & Bocking United Reserves gained valuable points with a 3-0 home win over Tillingham Hotspur Reserves.
Peter Havelin set up two goals in a minute for John Morgan and Matt Ohene to give the homesters an interval lead. Jim Lock added a third goal in the second-half to seal United's win.
Goals from Elderton and Newton after 37 and 44 minutes gave Mundon Vics a 2-0 home victory over Marconi Reserves .
Anglia Poly beat hosts Writtle Manor 2-1. Kingston Kamba's goal gave Anglian interval lead and the teams shared two goals in the second half, Brendon Farrell scoring for the students.
DIVISION THREE
Mayland Village beat hosts Springfield 6-1, Scott King scoring three of the Mayland goals.
Hooper (2) and Watson (2) were among the Springfield Rouge scorers as they beat Boreham Reserves 6-3.
