Summertime fun is well under way with youngsters taking an interest in outdoor activities in the sunshine.
Eleana Brown, ten, took a trip to Wat Tyler Country Park, in Pitsea, to see what marvels she could unveil.
During an organised session, as part of a long-running programme at the park, the youngster delved in the pond with their nets.
After discovering what creatures live beneath the water, Eleana joined groups of other children in putting together a piece of 'pond art'.
