Football-mad David Beckham wannabes have had a chance to play with their Colchester United heroes this week in the U's annual Summer Soccer Camp at Essex University.
Around 80 boys and girls aged between seven and 14-years-old have been flocking to the five-day camp all week where they have been meeting the U's players and learning soccer skills.
U's in the Community officer Steve Downey, organiser of the camp, described the fun as "a great success".
He said: "The opportunity for the children to learn from the club's professionals has been a real highlight of the camp this week.
"Players such as Warren Aspinall, Geraint Williams and Karl Duguid have a definite flair for the job of improving the abilities of the children."
All the children received an Adidas ball and a camp T-shirt.
Other U's players to put in an appearance this week include David Greene, Sagi Burton, Joe Keith, Jamie Moralee and Andy Walker.
