Silver End crashed to an all-time low on Sunday as they were bowled out for just 18 runs against Chappel and Wakes Colne.
Chasing a huge total of 323 for 3 - in which openers Jay Hope (108) and Bill Maytham (100) put on 201 for the first wicket - End completely capitulated, Steven Sprunt ending up with five wickets for just six runs.
Amazingly though it wasn't a completely disastrous weekend for the division five side as they beat Tendring on Saturday.
Andy Jackson's 112 was the highlight of an innings of 223 for 7 which Tendring nearly reached, scoring 213 to lose by ten runs.
Abberton went run-mad against Shalford in division one, scoring a massive 403 for 8 off of their 45 overs.
John Ward (107) and Tom Hills (127) put on 215 for the first wicket and then Matt Hills, with 61 off of 22 balls, Shaun Whitfield (41) and Charles Saunders (41 not out) also weighed in.
Shalford put up a valiant attempt to reach the target, managing 223 for 9 - Mark Fox took a hat-trick for Abberton.
An amazing innings by Neil Cowley sealed a five-wicket win for Cavaliers over Dedham in division three.
He scored an outstanding 133 not out off just 42 balls, an innings that included 18 sixes and five fours.
The knock helped Cavaliers (191 for 5) reach Dedham's target (190 for 9) in just 22.5 overs. Russell Walker scored 51 for Dedham.
Also in division three, Tiptree halted their recent bad run when they beat West Mersea by 50 runs.
Chris Williams (40) and Steve Wilcox (93) starred in an innings of 195 for 6, West Mersea being bowled all out for 145 in reply.
Little Bardfield Village were again among the runs in division two, rattling up a huge 376 for 3 against Kirby.
Opener Alan Kemp was the hero scoring 214 not out, hitting 24 fours and 12 sixes in the process. Kirby struggled in reply, eventually being bowled all out for 138.
In division four, Gosfield's openers were on song against St Osyth.
They made 269 without loss, Nigel Chinnery scoring 150 not out and Gary Dicker 108.
St Osyth nearly clinched an unlikely victory however, reaching 240 for 9 before their innings closed.
It was a double-winning weekend for Gosfield as on Sunday they defeated Earls Colne by eight wickets.
Also in division four, Great Horkesley sealed their first win since May when they completely overwhelmed Kelvedon and Feering.
The visitors were bowled all out for 77, Graeson Laitt taking 4 for 33 and Kevin Chapman claiming 3 for 7. Horkesley then made 80 for 2 in reply.
