The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is holding its first Top Walks Challenge on September 12.
The event in Braintree will be one of 50 walks taking place around the UK on a six-mile route, selected by Country Walk magazine.
It is hoped the walks will help boost funds. Since the association was founded in 1931, more than 20,000 guide dog partnerships have been trained. The training, from the puppy stage through to the fully trained dog, now costs £27,000.
If anyone is interested in taking part in the walk in Braintree, please contact 0870 1234445.
