A roofer celebrating 25 years service has been honoured for his loyalty.
Brian Mapes, 49, has worked at the Southend company Briggs Roofing and Cladding in Stock Road, Southend, since it was taken over 15 years ago.
He had already spent ten years with the previous company.
The Westcliff man, who has two young children, is just one of several employees noted for their long and dedicated service to the firm.
As part of his anniversary celebrations, managing director of the international company, Barrie Dyson, handed over a gold watch.
Well done - Brian Mapes comes down from the roof to receive his watch from Barrie Dyson and Ralph Barrie
