Staff turned St Trinian's girls for the annual fete at a Colchester residential home for the elderly.
Residents of Scarletts sat out in the sunshine for a Saturday afternoon full of events including line dancing, a dog show and sponge-throwing stocks, as well as a number of stalls and games.
Head of care Mandy Pryke said: "It was an excellent afternoon, enjoyed by everyone who took part or came along to watch. We were pleased it was good weather, but it did get a bit too hot, particularly for the dancers."
The event raised £663.42 which will go into the Resident's Amenity Fund. Mrs Pryke said some residents had already said it would be nice to have a big party for all involved with the home.
Scarletts, in Recreation Road, is one of the homes scheduled for closure following the latest review of elderly people's homes by Essex County Council.
