John Brame of Tri Sport Epping carried all before him in the Springfield Striders' Tour of Little Baddow, by breaking course records on all four days.
Last Sunday, in the road race around Ulting, Brame took an early advantage over his clubmate Steve Smith, with the Striders' Dave Norman II and John Beaumont, the closest challengers.
On Monday night, the course record went on the cross country section, but Dave Norman II managed to keep his deficit to a minimum.
Alec Coleman took the prime through Heather Hills, to sneak up the standings.
Brame, a triathlete, saved his best for Tuesday, with a blistering run on the tough hilly road course, and smashed the existing record by over a minute.
Norman and Beaumont consolidated their positions, while Rob Rodie saw his chances slip away and a close battle was developing between Lindsay Broadbridge, Carl Cornish, Dave Game, Malcolm Bailey and Julian Catmull.
With the title not in doubt, it just remained for Brame to break both the mile up and mile down records.
He duly obliged with times of 4.24 and 5.22. Dave Norman II secured second spot with an uphill time that also beat the old record.
John Beaumont easily held off any late challenge from the chasing group, to finish in third place.
Denise Reed took a commanding lead on the first day, and despite the efforts of Lynn Standen, Janet Hill and Theresa Tremain, took the ladies event with a little to spare.
Dave Norman II continued his good form on Thursday in the Club's annual 'Good, Bad and Ugly' relay race.
Newcomer to the club Peter Roberts, passed on a winning lead to Norman after good work on the first leg by Len Clark, who had been pressed into service at the last minute.
The second placed team of Dennis Spencer, Kevin Wright and Simon Green were two minutes down on the winners.
Norman rounded off a fine week by claiming the club five mile championship at Dunmow last Sunday.
