Young performers from The Grosvenor School of Dance and Drama in South Woodham are busy rehearsing for a production of the musical Scrooge, to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Performances will take place on Saturday and Sunday August 7 and 8 in the Dame Elizabeth Hall of the William De Ferrers Centre.
Publicity officer, Valerie Buckler, said: "The children have been rehearsing for months and it promises to be a very entertaining show.
"Much hard work has gone into the making of costumes, scenery and props thanks to the willingness of parents and helpers."
Performers hope that proceeds will enable them to buy two puppies to be trained as guide dogs.
Tickets priced at £5 for adults and £4 for concessions are available from Capricorn Video in Chipping Row, South Woodham.
