West Indies cricketer Courtney Walsh bowled into a Chelmsford bookstore to sign copies of his autobiography.
Eager fans popped into Waterstones book store in The Meadows Shopping Centre to meet the star.
Courtney was in town to promote his new book, Heart of the Lion. Staff at the store said their special guest kept fans happy by chatting and also signing cricket bat and hats.
Some of the items are set to be auctioned off to raise money for a school for children with special needs.
Bowled over - Courtney Walsh signs his autobiography for Matthew Speakman, 12.
