The Great Baddow Bowling Club won the 'King Cup' and the £200 first prize at the Chelmsford Open Men's Fours Bowls Tournament on Sunday.

The event, staged by the Chelmsford Bowling Club and sponsored by Hansen Lloyd Asset Management, attracted 24 entries from Kent and Essex.

Great Baddow bowled well all day to pip Chatham BC from Kent for the title by just two points.
