A woman involved in a car smash in Prittlewell Avenue, Southend, today praised her rescuers and passers-by.
Tazim Paye of Kings Road, Benfleet, was involved a collision with another car at a junction near the fire station. The ambulance turned up within minutes and she in hospital just 15 minutes later for minor injuries.
The accident happened on Saturday evening and Mrs Paye wants to thank drivers who stopped to see if she was OK and act as witnesses.
She added: "People were absolutely brilliant."
