Tiptree United Football Club have made changes in sponsorship for the forthcoming season.
Last season's major first team sponsors of the Jewson League side, Milan Europe Teamwear, have pledged their continued support to the club through the supply of new kit and equipment.
This is in addition to a further cash injection to help the clubs push for promotion honours.
However, so as to enable Tiptree to obtain additional sponsorship for its first team kit, the company's Managing Director, Mr Russell Whittaker, has agreed to switch the emphasis of his support to other areas within the club.
These changes have enabled the club to negotiate with other potential sponsors and as a result, has secured a major sponsorship deal with local company, Tiptree Building Supplies Ltd.
Last season the company supported the club in many ways, but in the new campaign it will take on the role of main sponsor with it's company name and logo appearing on the first team strip.
The deal, which takes the form of a cash injection, is the largest in the club's history and although the exact amount is undisclosed, it is thought to be second only to the record non-league sponsorship deal recently announced by Essex rivals, Clacton Town.
TBS Director, Mr Chris Wilding said, "As a local company we have been looking for the opportunity to get seriously involved in sponsorship and we are pleased that the opportunity has arisen for us to do this with our local football team.
''The club made giant steps forward last season on a limited budget and put Tiptree back on the non-league football map.
''We hope that with our support and with increased financial backing, the club's new manager, Steve Parnell, with his undoubted experience, will be able to return the club to its rightful place in the Premier league''.
