Young musicians from Maylandsea County Primary School have been taking part in a music project with the English Sinfonia orchestra.
Organised as part of the Cressing Temple Music Festival's education programme, the project included workshops by a professional singer, composer and musicians to help children develop their musical skills.
A concert was held at the school last week, in which children performed their own compositions with members of the orchestra, on the themes of the rainforest.
Numerous other musical events have been taking place in the region this month as part of the festival.
