A pub in Witham was flushed with success when it won the runners-up prize in a toilets facilities competition.
The Victoria, in Powers Hall End, was one of two pubs to receive nine gallons of IPA as second prize.
The aim of the competition, organised by Ridleys, was to assess the cleanliness and overall appearance of toilet facilities.
Ridleys managing director Greg Jephcott, said: "We were delighted by the high standard set.
"In view of the importance to customers, we would like to continue to encourage our tenant colleagues to work as hard as possible to maintain this level of excellence."
