Eastwood bowlers got back to winning ways in the Beharrel Shield with a narrow two-shot win over Shoebury.
W Rushton got Eastwood off to a fine start with a 21-19 win over M Ager.
However, F Lampton put Shoebury on level terms with a 30-18 victory over W Sutton.
C Summers turned up the heat for Eastwood and proved too strong for D Gibney to the tune of 24-12 to give his side an overall 63-61 triumph.
Eastwood travelled to Shoebury in the Parren Shield and came away with their third win on the trot after taking all three rinks by 21 shots.
R Noakes saw off P Croucher 28-16 before A Wordley defeated P Bates 21-17. J Wilde wrapped up the win with a 24-19 victory over C Jones. The overall score was 73-52.
Eastwood lost by 38 shots at Castle Point in the Group Six Division One, but beat Hadleigh 61-23 in Division Three.
