Organisers of the Tillingham Flower Show hailed the event a tremendous success on Saturday.
A procession kicked off the afternoon with the WI winning the Tillingham Challenge Trophy for best entry.
At West Field there were the usual two produce and handicrafts marquees.
"The entries were a little more than last year and it was certainly well attended," said vice-chairman, John Grimes.
Outside the marquees there were children's races, vintage tractors, stalls, sideshows, falconry display, morris dancing, Scottish dancing and a tug-of-war competition.
Teams from the Cap and Feathers Pub won their respective male and female contests.
Entertainments secretary, Dave Randall said: "A lot of people this year helped erect the marquees and take them down and the committee would like to say a big thank you.
"We're always looking for new members and ideas so anyone wanting to join please contact a member of the committee," he added.
The show ended with a successful evening disco while on the Thursday prior to the show there was a youth disco and on Friday music in the village square was provided by Force 10.
