All the pupils at White Notley Primary School took part in a sponsored skip recently to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
About 115 children took part in Jump Rope, which was organised by the charity, along with parents and teachers.
Marion Morrison, deputy headteacher, said the event had been a success.
"We are waiting for sponsor forms to come in so we haven't got a figure yet, but we are confident it was successful. We have raised money for the British Heart Foundation in the past and this event was just as fun and educational," she said.
