Copford grandad Len Hunt is a new National Classic Motorcycle racing champion.
The 60-year-old ace is so far ahead in his field - the Boyer Bransden 501cc to unlimited period class - that he cannot be caught with two rounds still to go.
Hunt clinched the title by riding his 1963 Norton Atlas 750cc machine to victory in his latest two races at Leicester's Mallory Park.
And as there are only 80 points available to the winner from the remaining meetings at Brands Hatch and Snetterton in August and September, Hunt is already the champ.
He currently boasts 391 points, 107 ahead of his closest challenger David Harrison on 284, with Tim O'Connell third on 149.
Hunt was also successful on his European venture in Belgium.
The only British rider competing, he won his two races in a two-day, closed-road circuit and returned to Essex with a handsome trophy to proudly show for his efforts.
