An evening of entertainment was on the bill as a talented beaver colony took to the stage to perform its first ever gang show.
The 6th Rochford Beavers put on the show at their base in St Theresa's School and performed camp fire songs and a play telling the history of beavers.
The cub pack also took part in the show and at the finale were presented with their entertainers badges.
The beavers also presented the scouts with a cheque for £723 raised by their adventurous leaders.
Four of the beaver leaders travelled to north Wales earlier in the year to take part in abseiling and white water rafting to raise much-needed funds for the colony.
The money will go towards buying a beaver flag for church parades and essential camping equipment.
Next year the leaders are planning a gorge walking trip to raise more money to go towards the groups.
