West Ham United will make a surprise visit to Scraley Road tonight for a hastily-arranged Intertoto Cup warm-up match with Heybridge Swifts.
Disgusted with his team's display during their 1-0 win over Finnish minnows Jokerit in their first leg match at Upton Park on Saturday, Hammers boss Harry Rednapp wants his full first team squad to have a good workout on Swifts pitch - reputedly one of the best in the county - before their return match in Finland at the weekend.
Swifts vice-chairman Mick Gibson said: "Although we are playing Norwich tomorrow night we couldn't turn West Ham down."
Kick-off for both the Norwich and West Ham games is 7.30pm. Admission for the Hammers match in £5 (adults); £2.50 (concessions).
