The second phase of the British Outdoor Rollerspeed Skating Championships took place at Tatem Park, North London on Sunday, which ended with three skaters from the South Woodham Ferrers & Wickford Rollerspeed Skating Club, who are sponsored by ECL Consultants Ltd, winning Championship medals.

Chanelle Moore, 10, started the ball rolling in the Girls 6-10 years 500m final, by winning the silver medal after being narrowly beaten by the eventual winner.

In the Boys 6-10 years 500m, Josh Chaplin and Billy Moore were eliminated in the two heats.

However, the final of five skaters featured four members of the South Woodham club, and finished with Sam Gosling, 9, taking silver medal and Jonathan Wallis, 9, the bronze, while Richard Webb came fourth and Sam Morrison fifth.

Sara Wallis competed in the Junior Girls 11-15 year 500m final and finished fourth.
