Tillingham lost at home to Bentley who set their hosts a target of 257 for seven, Redman (71) and Johnson (56) leading the way by sharing an opening stand of 117.
Jimmy Chapman made 102 not out in the reply but with only Tim Blake (32) doing anything else, the home side were restricted to 201 for nine and a 56 run defeat.
Springfield's hopes of the League title took a dent when they were beaten at reigning champions, Great Waltham.
Lightfoot (49) and Curtis (48) shared 79 for the first wicket and White added an unbeaten 71 as Springfield made 225 for six.
The mainstay in the reply was Gary Bloom who hit an unbeaten 95 and when joined by Phil Whettell (39no), he shared a stand of 93 to see Waltham through to 231 for four in 44 overs.

Great Baddow made 232 for seven at Stock , and then restricted their hosts to 196 for eight to win by 36 runs.
