Police today warned youngsters not to play in luggage lockers at Clacton railway station after a 12-year-old child became trapped.
Two fire crews and police freed the youngster without injury at 4pm on Thursday. PC Phil Harrod of British Transport Police said two young children were "mucking around".
He added: "If someone had not seen them it could have been very serious indeed."
