Saturday saw Glendene CC's Richard Whitehorn finish second in the GHS London East Schoolboys Championship 10-mile Time Trial.
His time of 24mins 22secs means that Richard will represent the District in September when the National Championships are held in Kent.
Romford's younger brother Edward also road the event, recording a personal best time of 28m 46s to finish sixth.
On Sunday, the Whitehorn's were again in action at Eastway Cycle Circuit in the Basildon CC Criteriums.
Richard won his event convincingly, managing to lap the field in the 15 mile event, and Edward came fifth in the under 14 event.
In the fourth category race on the same programme Ben Dave came fifth, Clyde Morgan was tenth and Phil Whitehorn 11th.
Colin Mannakee rode in the Maidstone Town Centre Criterium promoted by San Fairy Ann CC and Dick Naylor of the promoting club was a clear winner by 30 seconds and Colin came fifth in the bunch spring to take sixth overall.
In the Eastern Counties Cycling Association 25 mile event between Bulphan and Pitsea on the A13, the high winds resulted in Glendeners all taking longer than one hour.
Paul Gilfoyle was 18 seconds over the hour mark while Nigel Harris was 25 seconds over. Mark Porter also recorded a time of 1hr 5m 55s.
