Following a sixth place at the Young Rider Championship at Bramham, Yorkshire Ramsden Heath's Lisa Maynard, 20, has been selected for the Young rider long List.
She will attend the European Young Rider Championship in Necame Ireland in September with Fiver for Luck, a horse she has ridden for Mrs Jane Sandeer of Saffron Walden, for four years.
She has taken Fiver from a Novice through to Advanced Level Eventing in this time., and in addition to riding Fiver, Lisa rides for five other owners as well notching up many placings and wins.
On June 24 she won at Purston Manor Horse Trials on Sophie Baker's - Penny Fortune - she was also sixth on Mrs Paddy Isllington's Great Hayes Ransom.
Lisa was also fourth in an Advanced Section at Savernake Forest Horse Trials with Fiver and won £210 and a glass decanter for the best under 25 rider in the Advanced Sections in May.
Lisa was also 23rd in Europe last year at the Young Riders Championships in Vanergem, Belgium, when representing Great Britain.
Lisa is currently seeking sponsorship, and in return, could promote products, and attend functions to highlight the sponsor.
