Mike Davill tore through the Ecko Monarchs' defence as champions Rochford celebrated winning the Centurion Southend Evening League in style with an emphatic away win.
The Monarch were 32-2 when Davill took five wickets, including a hat-trick, in a maiden over.
He added another wicket before Ekco were all out for 35 in 6.4 eight-ball overs. Rochford won with a score of 39-4 in 6.7 overs.
Trinity swamped Rayleigh Fairview after restricting them to 81 for five in 12 overs. Trinity raced to 82 for no wicket in only 8.2 overs, with Wise making 54 not out.
Southend Ambulance were all out for 69 with Shoebury Park cruising to victory with 70-3.
Prittlewell again scored heavily in Division One when they made 145-8 in 15 overs, with Everett 39 not out.
Palmer tried hard for Eastwood with a knock of 38 but he received little support. They made only 96 when the final wicket fell in the 13th over.
Old Westcliffians and Post Office shared an exciting tie with both teams finishing on 99 in their 12 overs.
Paul Smith made 65 for Post Office, while S Thomas took 3-23. Trevor Bynes was the Old Boys' top batsman with 34 and R Wood took 3-39.
Midland Bank won with the last ball to deprive Chequers of their first win of the season.
Chequers batted first and lost four wickets for 15 before Graham Kitchener (15) and Hyam (17 not out) steadied the innings as Chequers finished on 66-8 off 12 overs. Mark Calloway took 3-20 off four overs.
Midland needed 27 from the last two overs after being 17-5 at one stage. Calloway (16 not out) and Gary Lee (15 not out) ensured the bank achieved their target, with Lee hitting the last ball for six.
Wickford close in on Hadleigh
Wickford closed the gap on Ibex Essex Sunday Premier Division rivals Hadleigh & Thundersley after both teams won at the weekend.
Hadleigh defeated Ardleigh Green by five wickets to pick up 22 points. Hadleigh made 199-5 off 29.4 overs in reply to Ardleigh's 116 all out.
However, Wickford got three more points when they beat Leigh by 158 runs. Wickford had home advantage and made 360-8 while Leigh made 202-9 off their 45 overs.
The results leave Hadleigh in second place - five points behind West Essex - on 105 and Wickford third with 103.
The leaders notched up 251-9 away to Southend Trinity, who reached 206-9 off their 45 overs. Trinity are now third from bottom.
Pegasus got a useful win when they defeated Laindon by 28 runs to keep themselves in eighth place in the East Division, one point behind Stanford-le-Hope, who were not playing.
The Corringham team were bowled out for 85 runs off 23.3 overs but saw off the visitors by bowling them out for 57 runs off 21.5 overs. Laindon are now fifth.
Steve Cooper had a 114 knock for South Woodham Ferrers as they scored 279-8 off 45 overs.
Yet it was not enough to deny Westcliff a four-wicket win after they made 280-6 from 43.4 overs in reply.
South Woodham stay one place off bottom and Westcliff are two points behind second-placed Orsett on 96.
Broomhill are well clear at the top with 150 points.

Chequers outfox Dorset side again

Canewdon's Chequers completed the friendly double over Dorset side the Fox when they met at Broomhills, Stambridge.
Chequers beat the Dorsetmen when they travelled to the West Country earlier this year and the Fox team arrived in confident mood.
However, they made 127-4 with their captain and opener Peter Lemmy knocking 55 not out and Jack Whack 35 not out.
Bob Warren led the Chequers' attack with 2-23.
In reply, Chequers made 129-4 with Simon Broad (37) and Neil Auger (29) being the top scorers. Andy Carruthers took 1-19 for the Fox.

Despite a useful opening stand of 37, Rayleigh Fairview crashed to 84 all out on a slow wicket in this Mid-Essex League Division Four game and lost by six wickets.
Joe Locke took 4-21 and Craig Filliary 4-13. Locke then led the way on the batting side with an unbeaten 41 and got good support from Steve Selby (22).

Danbury started in style with a century opening stand, but were then destroyed by Rayleigh skipper Bob Smith (5-21) and veteran Ken Merton (3-53).
Matt Faulkner then saw Fairview to victory with an unbeaten 49 and Ian Mitchell scored 40 not out as Rayleigh won with 10 overs to spare.

John Fielden (42) and Jonathan James (39)) led the batting honours for Southendian, who then had Tim Dennis (2-37) and Ken Johnson (2-38) to thank for their bowling abilities.

Carriers crashed to a four-wicket defeat in this Reefer 90s 40-overs-per-side match at Holy Cross.
Carriers struggled for runs and could only make 122-5. Opener Lee Allen made 33 and number three David Toplis 38 not out.
However, the runs came too slowly against Singh (3-20) and King (1-9 in nine overs, five of them maidens).
Morgan made it a rum do for Carriers by coming in at number five and scoring an unbeaten 48.
That was after Eversley had lost their first four wickets with only 29 runs on the board. Allen took 3-26.
