Mum-to-be Stessa Short is hoping for the longest possible labour when her first baby is born next week.
She's not a masochist - she merely wants to raise as much money as possible for the RSPCA so she has arranged for her labour to be sponsored!
Stessa, 20, of Burlington Road, Colchester, has been doing voluntary work for the animal charity since June and wanted to do something extra to help.
She said: "I obviously can't do a bungee jump so I thought I would get sponsorship for my labour."
Friends have sponsored her per hour.
