Maldon Town's leading goalscorer last season Tommy Noble has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
Delighted manager Ben Embery said: "I'm very happy Tommy has signed. It's a big, big plus for us.
"He scored something like 27 goals last season and I know some other clubs had shown as interest in signing him, so I'm delighted he has agreed to stay."
Other good news for the Jewson League premier club is the signing of experienced midfielder Adrian Owers.
The former Sudbury, Braintree and Brighton man is seen by the Maldon boss as the man to guide his younger squad members through the season.
Embery's assistant manager will be Steve Jackson. Jackson has been associated with Embery for 14 years and will continue their successful partnership.
Second team manager Kenny Kenn will continue to run the reserves assisted by Peter Pask and looks to continue to push forward youngsters through the ranks to senior level.
Mike Langdon steps up from last years Under 16's to take charge of the Under 18's in the Eastern Alliance League while Dave Raylor moves up from the youth section to the Under 16's.
The club are actively seeking players with the ability to play at senior level and in this respect players wishing for a trial will be welcome when pre-season training commences on Thursday, July 7 at 7.30 pm.
Under 18's will also be welcome on the night but the Under 16's will not commence their training until mid August.
The club's first pre-season friendly kicks-off at Park Drive on Saturday, July 17 against Herne Bay, 3 pm.
