George Burley is still hoping to persuade Dutchman Bobby Petta to stay at Ipswich Town.
A club spokesperson said today the Portman Road boss would be meeting the unsettled 24-year-old tomorrow in the hope of settling a deal.
Petta is understood to have rejected a new pay offer and is in talks with another club.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed Burley has watched Charlton keeper Michael Salmon with a view to signing him as Richard Wright's understudy, although no contact has yet been made.
John Wark is expected to begin his new job as chief scout at Portsmouth next week.
Most of Town's players reported for pre-season training today, with Wright and Kieron Dyer the only notable absentees.
