Singers, bands and morris dancers travelled from near and far to join in Leigh's eighth annual folk festival.
Families flocked to Leigh library gardens to sit out in the sun and listen to fine music and watch the dancers.
Plucking banjos and purring violins echoed around the gardens on Broadway West with music from Keep On The Grass and the Famous Potatoes.
In St Clement's Church Hall, Rectory Grove, youngsters were kept busy with a puppet show and workshop.
Visitors to Leigh Old Town were met with a plethora of groups performing music and dances on Sunday.
Morris dancers brought a touch of old England to the fishing village and the air was full of music.
Drinkers were also treated to several concerts with a traditional Irish music session and a concert from Isla St Clair at the Ship.
A festival spokesman said: "The folk festival is run by the community for the community."
