Witham Town Football Club will be running four teams in the forthcoming 1999/2000 season, as, in addition to the first and reserve teams, there will be two youth teams at under 18 and under 16 level.
At present, four pre-season friendlies have been arranged.
They are all to take place at Spa Road, and the friendlies are on Saturday, July 24 against Purfleet (kick off 3pm), on Tuesday, July 27 against Braintree Town (kick off 7.45pm), on Tuesday, August 3 against Heybridge Swifts (kick off 7.45pm) and on Wednesday, August 4 against Southend United (kick off 7.45pm).

Good players at under 16 level are required to complete the squad and the under 16's are having their first meeting on July 3 at Spa Road at 9.30am. Telephone George Young for details.
Meanwhile, Witham will entertain Lewes in the preliminary round of the Ryman League Cup next season.
