Chelmsford City will face four new sides in the revised Dr Martens League South East Division next season.
The new teams will be Wisbech Town and Stamford, being transferred from the old Midland Division, along with newly promoted Burnham (Buckinghamshire) and Spalding from their respected feeder leagues.
Hastings Town have also joined the division, having been 'relegated' from the Premier after initially resigned midway through last season. The club was also involved in a takeover last week.
The old southern division has lost six clubs with Andover and Brackley having resigned, Yate Town and Cirencester Town moving across to the new Midlands and West Division.
Margate, having won their FA appeal to be promoted, join Havant & Waterlooville in the Premier Division which means the South East Division has lost six clubs while initially only gaining five.
The league's annual meeting at Bournemouth approved the constitutional changes but has now left the management committee to resolve the question of which Midlands and West Division club, with VS Rugby or Shepshed Dynamo the favourites, crosses over to the South East Division to make up the full compliment of 22 clubs in each of the three divisions.
The league cup this season will only involve single games in the rounds up to the final which will again be two-legged. The cup draw has yet to be made.
