Maldon Cricket Club have announced a sponsorship agreement with Nat West Bank.
This exciting local partnership came about as the Cricket World Cup gets into full swing and is evidence of how Nat West support the game both nationally and at grass roots level.
Nat West were impressed with the community links being established by Maldon Cricket Club with its burgeoning supply of youth talent, links with local primary schools and The Plume and all round progressive approach.
At the club's headquarters in Drapers Farm Road, Maldon, the manager of the Nat West local branch, Guy Rickards, presented a cheque for £1,500 to Kim Broadhurst, chairman of Maldon Cricket Club.
Mr. Broadhurst said: "Maldon Cricket Club are pleased to launch the partnership with Nat West Bank and look forward to a mutually beneficial link between the bank and ourselves."
