Stansted Airport expects a record 90,000 passengers this bank holiday weekend.
The busiest day will be Sunday when 32,000 passengers are forecast and Monday when there will be just 1,000 less.
Most population destinations are Dublin, Amsterdam, Milan, Cork and Edinburgh.
The weekend figure tops the earlier May Day Bank Holiday when 70,000 used the Essex airport.
Meeters and greeters of arriving passengers are advised to check BBC Ceefax page 447 or ITV Teletext 299 before setting off for flight arrivals information.
