A teenage girl was followed by a man after he exposed himself to her on a Chelmsford road.
Police are anxious to find the man after the late night incident at the junction of Chignal Road and St James' Park.
The 15-year-old was on her way home at about 10.30pm on Tuesday when she was approached by the man who exposed himself to her.
He is described as white, in his late 30s, and athletically-built. The girl said he had scruffy, short, brown hair and was unshaven.
He was wearing light blue jeans, with a black belt that had a square, silver buckle, and a dark blue fleece jumper.
The spokesman said the girl was deeply shocked and appealed for anyone who saw the man to contact Det Con Dave Hobday on 01245 491212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111
