Rayne lost out to Hedingham in a high scoring match on Sunday, with six players scoring over 40.
For Rayne, Dave Dawson (63) and Mick Richardson (93) shared 167 for the first wicket, and Ian Clark chipped in with an unbeaten 45 as Rayne set a challenging total of 233 off 40 overs.
In reply, Castle Hedingham cruised to victory with Burdett (60) and Abrey (42) paving the way for King (97 not out) to lead his side home with one over to spare.
