Bowler Brenda Brown is set to make her England debut next month after being selected in the squad for the first time.
Brenda, who plays for Colchester Ladies at their Eudo Road base, will play in a home nations tournament in Belfast next month.
She said: "We go out there on June 17 and the first match is against Wales the following day. Assuming I play well enough there'll be matches with Ireland and Scotland as well."
The 58-year-old, from Lexden, won recognition from the selectors after skipping Colchester to the national triples title last season. She has also represented her country at indoor level.
After the international competition has been completed, Brenda will return to the club scene with her Colchester team-mates when they bid to become British champions.
The English title winners take on their Scottish, Irish and Welsh counterparts, also in Belfast.
